What is the difference between an annual effective rate (NACA) and a nominal rate (NACM)?
Chevron Down

Interest rates are quoted either as annual effective rates (NACA) or nominal rates (NACM). The NACA is the interest rate earned (at the same nominal rate) over a 12-month period with the interest compounding back into the savings account. NACM is the actual interest earned over a one-month period. It is important to note that the interest you will have earned at the time of your withdrawal will be in line with lifecycle of your funds at the time of placing your 15 days notice.
