Edinburgh residents may well be aware of NT Art Month, a festival that launched in 2023 to celebrate the amazing artists and galleries based in New Town. Perhaps you participated by wandering the streets of the city centre and visiting the numerous galleries to appreciate artworks in painted, sculpted, and various other forms. 

NT Art Month is returning in 2024 and will be taking place throughout the month of June. And, we’re delighted to announce that we’ll be sponsoring the event, helping to shine a light on Edinburgh’s incredible local artistic talent.

This year, the festival is expanding into art zones across Edinburgh, with 11 galleries getting involved, as well as two bars. There is a strong emphasis on supporting independent spaces and the value they add to the area.

Highlights include:

• An exhibition of Emily Moore’s multi-layered landscape paintings at the & Gallery
• A curation of sculpture celebrating the natural environment at The Scottish Gallery
• An eclectic mix of local, national, and international artists on show at the Watson Gallery’s Summer Favourites
• A showcase of David Cemmick’s contemporary animal sculpture at Harvey & Woodd
• A pop-up exhibition of Pauliina Marjanen’s playful art at Good Brothers Wine Bar
